Trust & order policies.

Clear policies for custom-made bridal orders, written quotes, official payment channels, shipping, fit, photos, and privacy.

Written in plain English, so you know what to expect before consultation becomes a confirmed production order.

Quick verification

Before you pay, check these first

VI Dressmakers is consultation-first. A form submission or first WhatsApp message is not a confirmed order. Payment instructions are shared only after consultation, quote review, and order confirmation.

  • Official channels only

Only trust payment instructions sent from [email protected] or +84 94 346 6897.

  • Written quote first

Design direction, timeline, inclusions, payment milestones, and next steps are confirmed in writing before deposit.

  • No payment to inquire

Submitting the consultation form starts a conversation. It does not commit you to an order.

  • QC before final balance

Final QC photos or video are shared before final balance for shipped orders, or reviewed at collection.

01

Custom-Made Bridal Order Process

Every dress starts with consultation, not payment. Before deposit, you receive a written quote covering fabric, silhouette, timeline, price, and milestones. Your order enters production only after quote acceptance and deposit. Fabric is cut only after required measurements and fit details are confirmed in writing.

  • All quotes are issued in writing (email or WhatsApp) and include: fabric, silhouette, estimated lead time, payment milestones, delivery considerations, and total price in USD (invoiced in VND at market rate on invoice date).
  • A quote is valid for 30 days from the date issued. After that, fabric availability and pricing may change.
  • Production scheduling and preparation do not begin until the quote is confirmed in writing and the production deposit is received.
  • Fabric cutting begins only after required measurements and fit details are reviewed and confirmed in writing.
  • Once production begins, the silhouette and fabric are locked. Minor refinements may be reviewed before production has progressed too far, subject to feasibility and written confirmation.
  • If a production issue appears after the deposit is received, VI Dressmakers will inform you promptly and review the next steps in writing.

02

Payment & Refund Policy

Most custom-made bridal orders use two payment milestones:

  • 01 A production deposit to confirm the order and reserve production.
  • 02 The final balance before dispatch for shipped orders, or at collection for Ho Chi Minh City pickup.

Production Deposit

The production deposit is typically 50% of the confirmed order value, unless confirmed otherwise in writing. It is due after written quote confirmation.

  • Before the production deposit is paid, no custom-made bridal order is confirmed.
  • After the production deposit is received, the order is placed into the atelier production schedule.
  • VI Dressmakers may then begin material preparation, fabric sourcing, production planning, and custom work based on the confirmed order details.
  • Because each dress is made for one bride, production deposits are generally non-refundable once the order is scheduled, materials are prepared or purchased, fabric is cut, or custom work has started.
  • Paying the production deposit means you accept the confirmed order details, payment milestones, and the policies on this page.

Final Balance

The final balance is due before dispatch for shipped orders, or at collection for Ho Chi Minh City pickup.

  • Before requesting the final balance for shipped orders, VI Dressmakers shares final QC photos or video of the completed dress.
  • For brides collecting in person, QC is reviewed at the appointment before final payment and handover.
  • Shipping fees, if applicable, are confirmed in writing before dispatch and may be included in the final balance invoice.

Order Documents by Email

Formal order and payment documents are sent by email from the official VI Dressmakers address.

  • When applicable, you may receive a Custom Wedding Dress Order Summary PDF, Deposit Invoice PDF, Deposit Receipt PDF, Final Payment Invoice PDF, and Final Payment Receipt PDF.
  • WhatsApp may be used for quick payment instruction follow-up or clarification, but it does not replace the written order summary, invoice, or receipt.
  • Payment details should be used only after the written quote, order summary, and invoice are confirmed.
  • Invoice and receipt PDFs are payment request or payment confirmation documents and order references. They are not VAT or tax invoices unless explicitly stated.

Payment Methods

  • Payment is by international bank transfer (VND) or Secure Online Payment (card supported).
  • Quotes are issued in USD. Invoices are in VND at the market exchange rate on the invoice date. The VND amount is confirmed on your invoice before payment is requested.
  • Payment instructions are shared after consultation, written quote, and confirmed next steps. The order remains custom-made for your measurements and design direction. The same production-deposit policy applies once production is scheduled or custom work has started.
  • Use payment details only after the written quote and invoice are confirmed. If any payment detail looks different, ask VI Dressmakers to confirm before paying.
  • Payment instructions are provided only during order confirmation, after consultation and written quote review.
  • Payment details are shared from an official channel and should match the same order reference, amount, currency, and milestone shown on your invoice or order summary.

03

Payment Safety

Before paying, make sure the request came from an official VI Dressmakers channel and matches your written order details, invoice, and payment milestone.

Payment request checklist

  • 01 The request comes from [email protected] or +84 94 346 6897.
  • 02 The request matches your written quote or order summary.
  • 03 The invoice number, amount, currency, and payment milestone are clear.
  • 04 Any WhatsApp payment follow-up matches the same written order details.
  • 05 The payment method matches the option confirmed with VI Dressmakers.
  • 06 You receive a receipt or written payment confirmation after payment is received.
  • VI Dressmakers does not request payment before consultation, written quote, and confirmed next steps.
  • Every payment request should match your written quote or invoice: invoice number, amount, currency, milestone, and official channel.
  • If a payment request looks different, pause and ask us to confirm your order summary in writing before paying.

04

Shipping & Customs Policy

We arrange international shipping through a logistics partner on a door-to-door basis. The confirmed shipping cost covers courier transit, import handling, and delivery to your address. No additional charges are collected on arrival.

  • Shipping fees depend on delivery address, courier, and package weight. For a boxed wedding gown, carriers calculate fees on volumetric weight — based on box dimensions, not the dress weight — which means a gown ships at a higher rate than a small parcel of the same actual weight. The confirmed shipping cost is quoted in writing before dispatch and included in the final balance invoice, not the initial deposit.
  • Before we pack, we photograph and film your completed dress. You receive final QC photos or video before the final balance is requested for shipped orders.
  • We declare the true commercial value on all customs documentation. We do not mark packages as gifts.
  • Dresses are packed in a protective garment bag inside a rigid shipping box. Address changes must be requested before dispatch — we cannot redirect a package already in transit.
  • If a package is lost or significantly delayed in transit, we may help file a claim with the courier. Resolution timelines vary by carrier and are outside our control.

05

Alterations & Fit Policy

Custom-made does not mean a guaranteed exact fit from measurements alone. We use a detailed measurement guide, review your numbers against the design, and ask you to recheck anything that looks inconsistent. We share progress photos or video where useful. Small local alterations may still be needed after delivery. We state that upfront instead of overselling remote orders.

Remote measurement support and fit limits →

  • Where possible, we recommend measuring with a local tailor or booking a measurement video call with Vi for guidance.
  • At key production stages where useful for your design, we share photos or video for your review and feedback.
  • Patterns are built with ease allowances to allow for minor adjustments at your end.
  • If a dress needs adjustment because of a measurement discrepancy on our side, we may offer a credit toward local alterations, depending on the situation.
  • We generally cannot offer a remake or full refund if measurements were accurate at submission but your body measurements change during the production period.

06

Your Photos

Your photos stay private unless you say otherwise. We do not post bride photos, testimonials, or dress images without your explicit permission. If you share your story with us, you decide exactly what appears — full name, first name only, or anonymous.

  • Photos, videos, and measurements shared during consultation and production are used solely to create your dress. Nothing else.
  • We do not post, share, or publish your photos, name, or wedding details without your explicit permission.
  • If you agree to share your story as a case study or testimonial, we send you a draft for review and approval before anything goes live.
  • You choose how you appear: full name, first name only, or anonymous.
  • You may withdraw permission at any time. We aim to remove published content within a reasonable timeframe after your request.
  • Inspiration photos you share (from Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) are used for design reference only and are not stored long-term.

07

Terms of Service

This website explains our process; it is not a binding order by itself. A custom-made bridal order is confirmed only after a written quote is accepted and the production deposit is received. Fabric cutting still waits until required measurements and fit details are confirmed. Remote custom work has real limits, and we state them here before you commit.

  • This website is provided for informational purposes. Nothing here constitutes a guarantee of production availability or pricing until a written quote is issued.
  • Submitting the consultation form opens a conversation, not a legal contract. A binding order is created only when a written quote is confirmed and the production deposit is received. Paying the deposit means you accept the custom-made bridal order terms and policies on this page.
  • All quotes are valid for 30 days. Prices may change after expiry due to fabric availability or exchange rate movement.
  • Our primary communication channels are WhatsApp and email. Vi replies to all inquiries within 24 hours on WhatsApp.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control: natural disasters, customs holds, courier delays, or fabric supply disruption. We will communicate proactively if any of these affect your order.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the order paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
