Su messaged me from Singapore on 18 May 2026 with a simple princess direction: a clean Snow White-style cup, a classic white inspiration, and a long train. We made the gown in Mikado silk and prepared the final proof before she collected it in Ho Chi Minh City on 3 July 2026.

01
Bride Vision
Su did not want a heavily decorated dress. Her direction was classic: a clean cup shape inspired by Snow White, a white princess silhouette, and a long train that would still feel special when she tried it on in Vietnam.
The important part was translating the references into a bridal Mikado silk gown, not copying one picture literally. The cup, waist, skirt volume, and train all needed to work together as one clean shape.
Inspiration references only

The references set the cup, volume, and train direction. The finished VI Dressmakers gown was made as Su’s own Mikado silk bridal version.
02
Design Direction
From Su’s references, we kept the brief narrow: a strapless cup bodice, a defined waist, a full princess skirt, and a long train. I confirmed the sketch and Mikado silk proof before the atelier moved into production.

Process

18 May 2026
Su’s brief was simple and clear: classic princess mood, Snow White-style cup, Mikado silk, and a long train.
Before cutting
The references became one working sketch, and the Mikado silk proof was confirmed before production moved forward.
Production
We checked the cup, waist, volume, and train while the gown was still at the atelier.
Final QC
Before pickup, we sent QC previews so Su could see the bodice, skirt, corset back, and train.

3 July 2026
Su came to Ho Chi Minh City and received the dress in person. This case is pickup proof, not a courier-shipping case.
04
Final Result
Because Su was collecting the dress in Vietnam, the final proof needed to show more than one angle. We checked the front bodice, Mikado skirt volume, corset-back adjustment, and train direction before pickup.
I have not asked Su for bride-wearing or wedding-day photos for public use yet. For now, this case uses only public-safe atelier QC, video proof, and redacted pickup feedback.
